1940's weekend

This was my absoloute heaven! it was the annual 1940's weekend in Haworth, possibly the best weekend for fashion. Everyone dresses up - i decided to even though it differs from my usual style, thankfully i had some suitable items handy! There was ridiculous amounts of vintage everywhere! I had a handful of fur to purchase (i don't even care that it's almost summer) A beautiful cape coat a leather bodice and billions of accessories. I want it to be the next one already.

vintage fair

I went to a fashion fair at Leeds Met the other week with the insanely talented and beautiful photographer Jess Heaps for us to do some blog work (we have a joint blog: moda amore) and found some beauty buys. The first being a lushious velvet bolero style jacket, endless pairs of sunglasses, and the amazingly cool Dr Martens airware high tops at a price of only £30. the overall day cost a fortune but it was money well spent. I bought this dark red croc type briefcase bag earlier this year from river island, i love the clasp on the front, it looks very 1940's and came in handy for this weekends outfit that i shall post later.
