wedding crashers

(Topshop coral mullet dress, New Look nude shoes, Matthew Williamson fringe clutch and Ray Ban wayfarer sunglasses)

Okay, so i know this isn't a typical fashion blog post. But i've ran out of ideas of posts when i'm without a camera or time to shoot! (Being at Dance School can be very time consuming and hard...i mean cmon we've all seen Black Swan i'm sure. It's basically that without me going mental or having a fantasy dream about Mila Kunis) So anyways i thought i'd post some photos from my eldest brothers wedding this August.
I opted for an incredibly feminine coral pink dress from Topshop with nude shoes and minimal accesories. Due to the unbearable sunshine and heat i had to whack on the Ray Bans to give the girly outfit the 'cool factor' then harshened it up with a dark purple Max Factor lipstick, photographed with the ladies my brother my mama, the other siblings and my pap.

Top 5

1. Acne wedges (would definitely fall in them, but when they are that hot who cares?)
2. Bambi Northwood-Blyth (one of my favourite models by far!)
3. Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction (too cool for words)
4. One Teaspoon dress (almost cried when it sold out on ASOS)
5. Jeffrey Campbell Litas (who wouldn't want a pair...)

Leeds Festival Photo Diary

Practically lived in double denim, alcohol logo vests, biker boots and band tee's; Leeds Fest was the best ever, its ace that it was easy distance for us to come home on the Saturday to shower eat and then return back all nice and fresh! Muse were the best of the weekend followed closely by Seasick Steve (whom i now have a bizarre crush on) purely for the fact that Led Zeppelin bass player John Paul Jones joined him on the stage for the majority of the set...safe to say i shed tears of overwhelming excitement! Managed to appear on the screen throughout the weekend thanks to Tom for having me on his shoulders so much!
Courtenay drove us all home at a tiring hour this morning the security traffic man person directed us down a lane called 'Death Valley' which scared us all up especially when i said it was the perfect horror film scenario.
I miss it already but nice to be home in my bed.
PS. as you can tell smiling on photos isn't really my forte i rely on pulling gay faces and praying that i look acceptable on photos...

The Zephr Song

Love love love buying new things, this weeks buys consisted of various colorful and patterned accessories from Topshop, the blue ring and matching necklace are from Forever 21 in Vietnam (present from my sister) and the turquoise shark tooth and peace necklace were beach stall buys from Spain.

the souk

Slighty obsessed with this vintage shop on Haworth main-street, has the most beautiful jewelry and retro outfits, i'm in love!

tea and cake

(Vintage velvet bolero jacket, lace top -h&m vintage leopard print shades and the many clashing accessories)

Another afternoon out some months ago (when i was experimenting with colours on my already dip dyed hair) with photographer and friend Jessica Heaps, we checked out a vintage fair in Leeds. They sold the nicest tea and cupcakes in the world! Managed to get some useful buys that i have worn to death since purchasing, the buy of the day had to be my £30 vintage airwair high top Dr Martens...heavenly!
The highly over-edited image was to sugar coat what a dismal grim day it was in Leeds.

The shop is up and running! Link is at the bottom of the page along with my Twitter and Tumblr links, hope you find some good buys!

it's the most wonderful time of the year

Next weekend! So so excited! Who else is going!?

universally speaking

A couple of random shots, i'm so lucky to live a few minutes away from such beautiful scenery - top photo on Haworth Moors photographing with Jess, sushi at Yo Sushi with Olivia. Showing off my mass of hair.

bye bye dip dye

I'm considering dyeing out my blonde tips, too many people are doing it, and it's nearly a year old. I might go even more blonde and perhaps extend to dip dye up to my roots...what do you think?

paint it black (and white)

As i'm rushing to get ready i thought i wouldn't go out without leaving a post this week. Just a medley of black and white photos of things i love: complex braids, a very cool looking Bob Dylan, ballet, a highly expressive Johnny Cash, Erin Wasson (goddess), hippies, and the love of my life John Frusciante (second left) with band members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Apologies that this post isn't all that fashion related, but it's just everything i love and appreciate, will be postng outfits soon! Have a lovely weekend xo

Wednesday, 3 August 2011

Arghhhh! So so so sorry for the lack of posting, the unfortunate loss of my camera has prevented me of photographing and blogging outfits. But fear not because coming up i have a wedding several parties and a festival approaching so in the next few weeks you'll have plenty to look at!

benicassim

(levis, bandannas, h&m shades, crotched vests, converse high top chucks etc)

Spent the entire week in levis, bandaus and john lennon shades, Benicassim was without doubt the best week of my life it was an excellent excuse to dress like a hippy and not be referred to as 'woodstock'. The weather was amazing as were every single person you met (got six marriage proposals throughout the week- the universe must know i have a boyfriend!) All alcohol was ridiculously cheap and i must have drunk around 70 litres of sangria. I had to make do with my naturally wild locks and terrible tan lines, i'm now most definitely addicted to braids and dreadlocks and i miss swimming in the sea at 4 in the morning. Only been back a week and i'm missing it like crazy!

prom

Only a few from prom, my camera was unfortunatley stolen at Benicassim so all of my photos are lost :(
Anywho i went for the totally unconventional prom dress and picked a topshop unique multi-colored sequined mini and paired it with some clashing dark green sky-scrapers and a leather tan Matthew Williamson fringed clutch. Will have a huge Benicassim post once the pictures from my disposable are scanned.

A snap at camden market from my trip to London with Olivia last summer, even though i spend 1/3 of my year in London with auditions, shows, and visiting my brother i still always wish to go more!
